PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for feeding sintered ore to a moving trough type cooling machine by which an increase in repair cost can be prevented and, further, the remixing of coarse grains and fine grains separated in the inside of an ore-feed chute for sintered ore can be prevented and a layer of the coarse grains and a layer of the fine grains can be formed as a lower layer and an upper layer, respectively, on a trough. SOLUTION: In the ore-feeding apparatus 1 for feeding the sintered ore to the moving trough type cooling machine, the ore-feed chute 5 for sintered ore is provided below an ore-discharge end 2a of a sintering machine 2, and further, the moving trough type cooling machine 9 is provided below the ore-feed chute 5 for sintered ore. The ore-feed chute 5 extends obliquely with respect to the extending direction of the moving trough type cooling machine 9, and the sintered ore A is fed from the ore-feed chute 5 to the cooling machine 9. The ore-feed chute 5 can form the layer of the coarse grains B as the lower layer on the trough 10 of the cooling machine 9 and also the layer of the fine grains C as the upper layer on the trough 10 by using a partition plate 8 provided to the inside of the chute 5 and extending along the extending direction of the chute 5.
