<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a composite for the fuel separator which is compound material shortening a forming cycle and superior in size precision and release property and the manufacturing method for the fuel cell separator using the composite. <P>SOLUTION: The composite for the fuel cell separator contains 65 to 90 wt% graphite powder, 1 to 25 wt% thermosetting resin and/or thermosetting resin composition, and 1 to 30 wt% thermoplastic resin. Boron is contained in the graphite powder according to need. The thermosetting resin and/or thermosetting resin composition contain crystalline epoxide resin with viscosity at 1 to 20 mPa s in 150°C, melting point of 50 to 130°C and being solid in normal temperature. The thermosetting resin contains at least one type of resin from cumarone resin and petroleum resin. Furthermore, a urea-based hardening accelerator is contained as a hardening accelerator. The fuel cell separator is obtained by forming the pulverized composition at 150 to 200°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
