PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water bottom deleterious material removing device capable of sucking and recovering only a sludge layer including the organic content while moving on a water bottom surface layer by a ballast tank. SOLUTION: This water bottom deleterious material removing device 1 is composed of a hood part 3 formed by expanding a lower opening part 2 in a flared shape opposed to the water bottom, a suction pump 5 arranged in a top part 4 of this hood part 3, the ballast tank 6 arranged along the peripheral edge of the hood part 3, and a jet nozzle 7 arranged along the peripheral edge of the opening part 2 in the the hood part 3.
