PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial or antifungal agent having a high antibacterial activity and a wide antibacterial spectrum. SOLUTION: A compound of formula (1) (wherein R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>4</SB>are identical to or different from each other and are each an optionally branched 1-20C alkyl group; X is COO<SP>-</SP>or SO<SB>3</SB><SP>-</SP>; and Y does not exist or is a 1-12C alkylene optionally having an ether bond, phenylene or biphenyl; and m is an integer of 1-5) or (2) (wherein R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>4</SB>, Y and m are as mentioned above; and R<SB>5</SB>and R<SB>6</SB>are each an optionally branched 1-4C alkyl group) and its preparation method are provided.
