<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ordering and inventory system and an ordering and inventory method for managing records of merchandise including supplies that accurately calculate records of merchandise including supplies for every category in a store. <P>SOLUTION: The ordering and inventory system comprises a merchandise master registering merchandise information including a unit price, a merchandise code and a category code in association with merchandise including supplies, means for, at an order of merchandise selected from a merchandise list read from the merchandise master and displayed, registering in an order record table a category code of cost accounting replacing the category code of the selected merchandise acquired from the merchandise master, or a store category code added, and means for collecting orders by every store category depending on the category code or store category code added to the merchandise extracted from the order record table to calculate an order record of every store category, or collecting merchandise stocks of every store category to collect an inventory record of every store category. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
