<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add markings to even commodities having various shapes and materials to automatically vend them, and to improve originalities of markings to prevent a commodity from being mistaken for commodities of others. <P>SOLUTION: A sales support system 10 is provided with a server 11 for accepting orders from terminal devices 21 to 23 through a communication network N and vending a commodity having a marking M peculiar to a customer added thereto, and the server 11 is provided with a location database 31 where types of available marking locations are registered corresponding to classifications of commodities.
