<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake sensing lighting flashlight which, at the occurrence of an earthquake, especially when a power failure is accompanied by the earthquake at night, can recognize the present status at darkness, is lit automatically so as to alleviate uneasiness and enable to make refuge action quickly, easily revealed in its whereabouts, easily taken out, can be used as an ordinary flashlight, has less complicated structure, and can be widely used at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A hanging fulcrum 3 for earthquake setting and a hanging fulcrum 12 after earthquake starting are provided for the hanging tool 1 of a flashlight of a wall fitting type, and a contact switch 6 having an internal battery circuit 10 in series is provided at the bottom of a main body 7.
