<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with which sticking life of a display is extended. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a storage means which stores image data for correction created based on a fixed pattern image including a background part, the image data for correction are created by allocating the maximum gradation value to an area with higher luminance and allocating gradation obtained by subtracting the number of gradations equivalent to sticking visual recognition limit width from the maximum gradation value to an area with lower luminance of a fixed pattern area and a background area in the fixed pattern image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
