PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose divided images in fine appearance so that a boundary line is not conspicuous. SOLUTION: An image input means 2 receives the input of a first image and a second image which are divided images, and an image composing means 3 forms a composite image with the first image and second image composed in a state of a clearance existing between the first image and the second image. A straight line setting means 4 sets a plurality of straight lines L passing an examination pointγin the clearance provided in the composite image. An intersection computing means 5 computes intersections P between a clearance side edge partαof the first image and the straight lines L and intersections Q between a clearance side edge partβof the second image and the straight lines L. A straight line selecting means 6 selects a straight line L' minimizing the difference of color information of the intersections P, Q, out of the straight lines L. A color information determining means 7 determines color information of the examination pointγusing the color information of the intersections P', Q' of the selected straight line L'.
