PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized/light-weight and easy-to-carry testing machine which is brought to a site and used to easily measure the pull-out strength of a screw, a nail, etc.; to provide a tester in which a value read from a scale on a torque wrench is used as the value of pull-out strength just the way it is. SOLUTION: A chuck 2 to be moved substantially vertical to an intrusion surface, with a screw, a nail member, etc. intruded therethrough, is coupled to a rack-and-gear 31 while a rotary shaft 32a of a spur gear 32 meshing with the rack-and-gear 31 is coupled to the torque wrench 1. When turning the torque wrench 1, a pull-out force is exerted on a screw W hitched on a latch part 21 of the chuck 2. While the screw W is held against the pull-out force, a detection torque equivalent to the exerted pull-out force is displayed on a display board 13 of the torque wrench 1.
