A particle filter (7) within a housing (9) to clean the exhaust gas from an internal combustion motor, using a fossil fuel, has a number of corrugated plates (13) with a number of curved surfaces in opposing directions. Each plate has contact surfaces (17, 17') where the plates lie on each other and define exhaust gas flow channels (21) through neighboring plates. Taking D as the maximum extension of the contact surfaces in the plate plane and A as the gap between the two main plate planes (19, 19'), at least 50% of the contact surfaces of both plates satisfy the expression D/A = 0.05, preferably = 0.07, more preferably = 0.10. |
