PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device which is advantageous in miniaturizing the pump device, excellent in waterproofness and chemical resistance, and capable of providing high torque with minimized variation in the gap between a stator and a rotor. SOLUTION: The outer periphery part 29 of the rotor 23 is composed of plastic resin, a spiral groove 30 being formed on the outer periphery part 29. The inner side of the stator 22 is provided with a cylindrical cap 31 made of non-magnetic stainless material and covering the stator 22.
