PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an image by effectively removing a noise for a noise with a long cycle or a sudden noise to be generated by pixel units. SOLUTION: This image information correcting device is provided with an abnormality deciding processing part 12 for inputting image information p detected by a solid-state imaging element 11, and for comparing image information to be corrected with the pixel information of its peripheral pixels, to decide the abnormality of the pixel information to be corrected; a normality decision processing part 13 for comparing the pixel information in the peripheral pixels of the pixel information to be corrected with each other to decide the normality of the pixel information in the peripheral pixels; and an interpolation processing part 14 for performing interpolation processing to the pixel information to be corrected, based on the abnormality decision output of the abnormality decision processing part 12 and the normality decision output of the normality decision processing part 13.
