<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing method and a system for storage unit layout simulations, which can reduce time and efforts when selecting storage units among storage furniture merchandise and performing layout verification. <P>SOLUTION: A server computer 1 has a storage unit table, which is comprised of storage unit types, occupation volume in storage space for system kitchens, storable storage item types and quantities of the storage unit. The server computer 1 includes a storage item receiving step for receiving types and quantities of storage items from a computer terminal 2, a storage unit determination step for determining a combination of storage units that become an almost minimum number for storing storage items, a layout step for judging whether or not all storage units are assigned to storage area in storage space for a system kitchen, and a layout result distribution step for distributing layout results to computer terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
