PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of obtaining image data with high sensitivity in a dark scene. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a photoelectric conversion film lamination type solid-state imaging element including: a semiconductor substrate on which a signal electric charge storage area formed corresponding to pixels, and a vertical transfer path and a horizontal transfer path of a charge coupled device type for reading and transferring stored signal electric charge are formed; and a photoelectric conversion film laminated on the semiconductor substrate wherein the signal electric charge photoelectric-converted by the photoelectric conversion film and corresponding to an incident luminous quantity is accummulated into the signal electric charge storage area. The imaging apparatus is provided with a means that the signal electric charge read from the signal electric charge storage area through the vertical transfer path are transferred to the horizontal transfer path along the vertical transfer path and thereafter transferred through the horizontal transfer path by using transfer pulsesΦH1,ΦH2 and added with the signal electric charge of a plurality of pixels on the way of being outputted to the outside.
