PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor and a method for assembling the same facilitating assembly of a compressor main body and a guiding pipe without causing increase of manufacturing cost, limitation of degree of freedom in design and drop of operation efficiency. SOLUTION: In the compressor main body 13 stored in a pair of storage parts 14 provided in a vertical direction in a housing main body 15, a flexible guiding pipe 46 is used for the guiding pipe 46 extending into lubricating oil in an oil reservoir 44 from an upper compressor main body 13 to supply lubricating oil in the oil reservoir 44 regulated in the housing main body 15 to the upper compressor main body 13 stored in an upper storage part 14 of the housing main body 15 to guide lubricating oil in the oil reservoir 44 to the upper compressor main body 13.
