PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank easily assembled and excellent in appearance in relation to the water tank used for appreciating and rearing aquatic organisms such as tropical fish and the like. SOLUTION: The water tank is constituted by forming grooves 11, 12 in which lower edges 2a, 3a of transparent side wall plates 2, 3 are engaged to each peripheral edge of a bottom plate 1 having an almost square planer shape, integrally forming mounts 6... for props at positions protruded from each corner of the bottom plate 1, and vertically standing the props 4...., having vertical grooves 41a, 41b for holding each adjacent end section 2c, 3c of two adjacent side plates 2, 3 out of several side plates 2, 3, from out side to each mount 6 for the prop.
