METHOD FOR TREATING PLASTIC, RECYCLING METHOD, TREATED AND RECOVERED MATERIAL AND RECYCLED PLASTIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a plastic in which decomposition and/or solubilizing efficiency is improved and a treated and recovered material having characteristics suitable for recycle can be obtained and a recycling method and to provide a treated and recovered material and a recycled plastic.

SOLUTION: The method for treating the plastic comprises carrying out treatment of the plastic fed for treatment in a solvent containing a phenol compound as an essential component and kept in supper critical or subcritical state under a condition in which average diameter range of the plastic is specified. The treated and recovered material is obtained by treating the plastic by the treating method. The recycling method comprises recycling the treated and recovered material. The recycled plastic is obtained by recycling the treated and recovered material as a raw material.
