<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver program which causes the host device to perform the processing for generating color-converted image data and transferring the generated image data from the host device side to a printer, the driver program which enables the capacity of image data to be stored in a host device to be reduced and enables data transfer to be performed without causing delay of printing completion time, and a data transfer method. <P>SOLUTION: The driver program for causing the host device to perform processing for generating image data consisting of data having a plurality of colors and transferring the image data to the printer causes the host device to perform the transfer processing of the image data by mixing a step for transferring image data for one face to the printer for each data of a band divided by prescribed height and a step for transferring the image data to the printer for each color out of the plurality of colors in the case of transferring the image data for one face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
