PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material which will not increase assembly man-hours or packaging material cost and will not be shaky during transportation as to a packaging material for a heavy item, such as a washing stand. SOLUTION: This relates a corrugated cardboard packaging material for reducing an outward shock applied to a washing stand 70 and the same is provided with a bottom base 10 for fixing immovably the washing stand 70 in an outer box 50, a pressing member 30 for further pressing the stand 70 placed on the base 10 from its top face and for reducing external shocks, and a cushioning material 40 for both side faces. The base 10 is assembled, using a single substantially rectangular sheet 100. The member 30 is assembled using a substantially rectangular sheet 300 and is provided with a substantially rectangular sidewall piece 35, having a folding ruled line 35a and insertion holes 32, 34 on each of its both ends to be formed in a box shape and fixed immovably.
