The jerk-free movement of a tube drawing machine is realized so that only linear movements are required in the drawing direction. The drive of the drawing product is carried out by two linear motors in series and which are equipped with gripping devices, and the movement progression of which is defined so that a jerk-free movement ensues. Cylindrical linear motors are used to create the jerk-free movement.
