<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collating device capable of identifying a patient securely before the treatment without applying a burden to the patient and without leaving a possibility of slight failure. <P>SOLUTION: The patient collating device comprises an input means for inputting key data for reading the physical characteristic quantity on the patient to be treated from a host computer, a storage means for storing the physical characteristic quantity on the patient to be treated read from the host computer based on the key data inputted by the input means, a physical characteristics obtaining means for obtaining the physical characteristics directly from the patient, a collating means for collating the physical characteristics obtained directly from the patient and the physical characteristics read from the host computer, and a collation result display means for displaying the result of the collation to a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
