PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus for heating in-container beverage obtained by sealing beverage inside a container to a desired temperature, and for preventing any heating medium from being leaked from the inside of a storage chamber to the outside. SOLUTION: The heating apparatus is provided with: a storage chamber 10 for storing in-container W obtained by sealing beverage inside a container; and a heating medium jetting means 40 for forming a collision jet stream on the surface of the container by jetting hot water to the in-container beverage W housed in the storage chamber 10, and heats the in-container beverage W to the desired temperature state, wherein the heating apparatus is provided with a medium jetting stopping means for forcedly stopping the jetting of hot water by the heating medium jetting means 40 when the quantity of the hot water stored in the storage chamber 10 exceeds a threshold.
