PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger capable of reducing remarkably labors and times required for the manufacturing. SOLUTION: In an evaporator constituted of a pipe 24 having a coolant flow passage and a plurality of fins 25, the pipe 24 is bent to be formed into a meandering shape comprising a plurality of straight line parts 24a and bent parts 24b, 24c, the straight line parts 24a are crashed flatly to form a flat portion, the fins 25 are inserted between the opposed straight line parts 24a of the pipe 24, and the flat portion of the straight line parts 24a of the pipe 24 is thermally fused to be joined.
