<p>A paper machine has a conveyer belt (1) made in sections (3) whose transverse ends (6, 7) are linked by a hinged push-fit hinged union formed of complementary components (9, 10). The push-fit components (9, 10) are joined to elongated longitudinal threads (3). The transverse coupling pins extend only over part of the end-edges (6, 7) and not the full width. Each edge has a number of coupling pins which are inserted as required to form a non-endless belt of given length.</p> |
