The invention relates to a set comprising a) a plastics container (20) with a bottom (21) and an peripheral side wall (24) that defines the axial expanse (S) of the container (20) and which is, opposite the bottom (21), provided with a mouthing and an external skirt, and b) a separate round-going plastics collar (40) that may optionally be fixated exteriorly on the container (20) at the mouthing. In the assembly the skirt comprises a peripheral wall (30) being connected to the sidewall (24) and defining a number of recesses (25) that are open in the axial direction of the container; and that the collar (40) comprises a wall (46') configured for blocking said recesses when the collar (40) is secured exteriorly on the container (20). <IMAGE>
