<p>In the present invention, there is disclosed a process for preparing amorphous ferric oxide in powder form from iron salts or iron complex compounds wherein the preparation process is characterized in that a selected precursor is subjected, after its modification ensuring a suitable particle size for distribution thereof, to a thermal decomposition for a selected reaction time at substantially stable temperature lower than 350 degC and maintained within the region of minimum conversion temperature thereof, optionally at higher temperature but ensuring amorphous character of the ferric oxide being just formed wherein withdrawal of secondary gaseous product being thus generated is simultaneously ensured.</p> |
