FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, flax harvesting equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: pull-type baler has wheeled frame and pickup. Compression chamber mounted on frame is composed of front and rear parts pivotally connected with each other and equipped with compression mechanism. Tension member of compression mechanism is made in the form of double-armed lever. Two rollers are secured on one arm of double-armed lever. Other arm of double-armed lever is connected to hydraulic cylinders equipped with stems located therein. Hydraulic cylinders are connected through closed hydraulic system via pressure valve and return valve to thereby provide for constant compression force applied to plant material from initial to final compression stages. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction and improved compression quality owing to constant compressing force applied to bales. ^ 3 dwg |
