FIELD: welding processes and equipment, namely electrodes for resistance spot welding, possibly in machine engineering, metallurgy, machine tool manufacture and other industry branches for making welded structures. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of filling die with waste electrode material consisting 0.2 - 0.5% of chrome; melting it till melting temperature; after cooling electrode material till temperature 900-950°C forming it by means of punch and then quenching it. ^ EFFECT: manufacture of electrodes at minimum consumption of raw material. ^ 1 dwg
