FIELD: test engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: members of friction pair are conjugated. The pairs have at least two pairs of plates of tested materials are placed onto movable and motionless dielectric units. Pair of electrodes are mounted onto the plates; one electrode is movable. Friction pairs are subject to loading and relative shift is created. External influence is measured and electric parameter of friction pair is determined as well as dependence of that parameter on external influence. Tribo-engineering electromotive force is determined as a parameter. Each friction pair is connected to electric circuit and top limits of readings of pulses are synchronously adjusted. Tribo-engineering electromotive force is determined in each pair of friction members. Temperature mode is provided additionally by heater. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency; higher precision. ^ 1 dwg
