PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent antinoise formed body for an image display device having ultra-fine electrically conducive fibers of a carbon nanotubes etc. employed for an electrically conductive layer of the antinoise formed body with the amount of the ultra-fine electrically conductive fiber reduced to increase optical transparency, and adapted to maintain antinoise performance even when thinning the thickness and machining such as the bending and stretching, etc. of the electrically conductive layer. SOLUTION: The optically transparent antinoise formed body for an image display device 2 is an antinoise formed body having an optically transparent electrically conductive layer 22 containing ultra-fine electrically conductive fibers formed on at least one surface of an optically transparent substrate 21, in which the ultra-fine electrically conductive fibers contact one another in a dispersed configuration such that the ultra-fine electrically conductive fibers are individually separated without clumping or separated by bundles each made up of a plurality of the ultra-fine electrically conductive fibers, the electrically conductive layer 22 having a surface resistivity of≤10<SP>6</SP>Ω/square and an optical transmissivity of≥50% for a wavelength of 550 nm.
