PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method for a substance capable of making transmission of a mucosa vaccine efficient, and the mucosa vaccine using the substance. SOLUTION: The purpose of the present invention is attained by the screening method for the substance for promoting conveyance or transmission of an antigen to an M cell, using the M cell (cilium M cell) of a cilium epithelial cell layer, for example, the screening method for the substance for promoting the conveyance or the transmission of the antigen to the M cell including a process for bringing the antigen and/or a testing compound into contact with the cilium M cell, a vaccine target substance identified by the screening method, and the vaccine or the like using the substance as a target.
