PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sofa for facilitating a user to lie on his/her back on a seat part body. SOLUTION: The sofa comprises the seat body 1, a back body 7 provided on a rear end of the seat body so as to longitudinally extend approximately in full length, and a pair of armrest bodies 11 provided on both longitudinal end faces of the seat body. At least one armrest body comprises a base part 12 fixed to the longitudinal end face of the seat body, and a movable part 14 which is held to the base part by a hinge mechanism 13 so as to erect and so as not to fall down. The movable part 14 is raised from the erected state and brought down in a longitudinal direction of the seat body so that it is held in an approximately horizontal state.
