The window frame is connected with the door box frame and the two together form in the edge area of the door an all-round door ring frame. A first door module (6) is producible from the door ring frame (1) and the door box inner wall (7). The door box inner wall is formed as module support for structural parts (12,13,14) and is connected with the door ring frame. A second door module is producible as door box outer wall from a support part and a connected outer plate. The first and second modules are connectable to the complete vehicle door.
