PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of minimizing a space in a terminal insertion chamber of an inner plate and increasing a circuit housing rate. SOLUTION: This connector comprises an outer housing 3 having a three step inner plate mounting chamber 2, and a plurality of inner plates 4, 4a, 4b having a plurality of terminal housing chambers capable of selectively housing the terminal and attached to each inner plate mounting chamber 2 by insertion with the terminal housed in the desired terminal housing chamber. Each of inner plates 4, 4a, 4b is set to have a width size to have the desired number of the terminal housing chambers, and two or more inner plates 4, 4a, 4b are attached in one step inner plate mounting chamber 2.
