PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spring capable of securing a large effective diameter even in a small arrangement space even if the inner diameter dimension of the bellows part of a cylindrical cover less than the maximally expanded outer diameter of a diaphragm by sufficiently preventing the interference of the bellows part with the diaphragm. SOLUTION: This air spring comprises a chamber 1 and a piston made of rigid materials, the diaphragm 3 connected airtight to the end parts of the chamber 1 and the piston 2 in an inverted attitude inside out at a middle part, and the cylindrical cover 6 surrounding the diaphragm. The cylindrical cover 6 comprises the bellows part 8 on the large diameter portion of the diaphragm eccentrically to the chamber side of the diaphragm, and the inner diameter d1 of the bellows part 8 is made smaller than the maximally expanded outer diameter D1 of the diaphragm 3.
