PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer rotor type motor embodied in a bearing structure having a large bearing load capacity and large damping effect and having a high braking effect for a turbulence willing to incline. SOLUTION: The outer rotor type motor 1 is structured so that the undersurface 11 of the periphery of a rotor hub 5 is formed in a disc shape confronting the base plate 2 of the motor 1 and a thrust bearing 12 is attached fast to the base plate 2 confronting the disc-shaped undersurface 11, so that the bearing sliding area can be maximized, while the bearing load capacity and the damping effect proportional to the bearing sliding area can be enhanced, and also the moment of the bearing reaction force can be enlarged for a turbulence willing to incline, which allows enlarging the braking force for the turbulence.
