A cleaning tool capable of developing sufficient cleaning capacity by moving it to a bottom side when a restricted space is cleaned, comprising a cleanin g sheet and a holding member (1). The holding member (1) further comprises a l eg part (2) for holding the cleaning sheet, a long supporting arm (3), and a gr ip member (4). The leg part (2) further comprises a holding part for mounting t he cleaning sheet, and is mounted on the forward side of the supporting arm (3) . The grip member (4) further comprises a sheath part (41) internally formed hollow so that the supporting arm (3) can be stored and slid therein and a holding part (42) formed projectedly from the sheath part (41). The supporti ng arm (3) is installed at a position not projected upward from the leg part (2 ).
