PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely analyze a failure and to repair in the case wherein an air conditioner main body or a control device for the same is returned due to a failure. SOLUTION: In the control devices for respectively controlling an indoor-unit and an outdoor-unit of the air conditioner, both of the indoor-unit control device 1 and the outdoor-unit control device 2 are provided with memory units 21 and 22 for storing the number of manufacture, and the number of manufacture of the outdoor-unit previously stored in the memory unit 22 of the outdoor-unit control device 2 when manufacturing the outdoor-unit is transmitted form the outdoor-unit to the indoor-unit when connecting the indoor-unit to the outdoor unit after installing the air conditioner, and the number of manufacture of the outdoor-unit is stored in the memory unit 12 of the indoor-unit control device 1.
