MAGNETIC PAPER, LAMINATED SHEET AND THERMOSETTING RESIN DECORATIVE LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily processable thermosetting resin decorative laminate producible in the same step/apparatus as those of conventional decorative laminates without using an adhesive layer, an adhesive sheet, etc., and engaging a piece of paper such as a memo pad or a print by using a magnet and to provide magnetic paper used therefor. SOLUTION: The magnetic paper is obtained by blending magnetic material powder, preferably soft ferrite in an amount of 100-300 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. of pulp fibers. A laminated sheet is prepared by laminating resin-impregnated magnetic paper obtained by impregnating the magnetic paper with a thermosetting resin to at least one surface of a core substrate and hot press forming the resultant laminate. The thermosetting resin decorative laminate is obtained by arranging resin-impregnated decorative paper prepared by impregnating decorative paper with the thermosetting resin and one sheet of the resin-impregnated magnetic paper obtained by impregnating the magnetic paper with the thermosetting resin just under at least the resin-impregnated decorative paper and carrying out lamination forming. The thermosetting resin decorative laminate is prepared by successively laminating the resin-impregnated magnetic paper obtained by impregnating the magnetic paper with the thermosetting resin and phenol resin-impregnated core paper prepared by impregnating kraft paper with the phenol resin and integrally forming the resultant laminate by a hot press.
