<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit of an automatic door, which can adapt even to the automatic door with heavy door weight by adopting a two-shaft drive system, which avoids the upsizing of a driving motor, and which enables the silencing of the automatic door. <P>SOLUTION: In the drive unit of the automatic door, a belt 6, which is laid in a wound state between a pair of pulleys 5a and 5b, is rotated by an electric motor; belt grippers 9 of the doors 2 and 2 are connected to the belt, so that the doors 2 and 2 can be operated for opening/closing; rotating shafts 4a and 4b of the respective electric motors Ma and Mb are driven by being directly connected to the pair of pulleys 5a and 5b; and the two electric motors are synchronized with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
