PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device capable of preventing the retreat of a screw by pressure caused by air bubbles formed in a molten material. SOLUTION: The injection device is equipped with a screw 1 and an AC servomotor 41 for the advance and retreat of the screw for causing rotary power by rotating a rotor 412 and a power conversion means 4 for converting the rotary power to linear power to move the screw 1 in the vertical direction. The AC servomotor 41 for the advance and retreat of the screw is equipped with a first brake means for holding the rotor 412 to a stationary state.
