<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact case dispensing with a hook mechanism, energizing a lid body to a case body to retain it and preventing the careless opening of the lid body by locking the lid body and the case body in a closed state. <P>SOLUTION: In a typical constitution of this compact case, a compact case 1 is formed by rotationally pivoting the lid body 2 and the case body 3 to a hinge part. The case body 3, at the hinge part, is provided with a locking piece 5 movable in the width direction between a first position P1 and a second position P2, and the lid body is characterized in that, at the hinge part, when the locking piece 5 is positioned in the first position P1, a part of the lid body 2 abuts on the locking piece 5 to prevent its rotational turning, and when the locking piece 5 is positioned in the second position P2, the lid body is in non-contact with the locking piece 5 and allowed to rotationally turn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
