PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chamfering wheel, improving the grinding efficiency by efficiently and simply introducing a grinding fluid. SOLUTION: A slit 7 is formed extending from the outer peripheral surface 6 of a projecting part of an abrasive material layer 1 to the bottom 3a of a recessed groove, and the depth of the slit 7 is set not to reach the bottom 3a of the recessed groove. The slit 7 is formed so that the bottom 7a of the slit 7 is positioned on the outer periphery side in a range of 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm from the outer peripheral end of a slant part of the recessed groove 3 coming into contact with material to be cut. As a result, the bottom 3a of the recessed groove has a continuous form, so that a shock due to intermittent contact is prevented to restrain the occurrence of chipping and obtain favorable worked surface.
