PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desuperheater having excellent reliability and durability. SOLUTION: This desuperheater comprises a spray nozzle 5 having a plurality of jetting holes 16 jetting a low temperature fluid 1 to a high temperature fluid 2 flowing in a desuperheater main pipe 9. A plurality of pipes 17 communicating with the plurality of jetting holes 16 are inserted into the spray nozzle 5, and flow control valves 20 regulating the flow of the low temperature fluid 2 are installed in the pipes 17.
