PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for continuous hot dip metal plating in which the improvement of the conventional roll for continuous hot dip metal plating is attained, and the fall-off of the axial part of the roll from the barrel part during use can be prevented. SOLUTION: The barrel part and axial part of the roll are formed hollow by ceramics, the barrel part and axial part of the roll are joined by engaging or screwing, and further, the fixing of the circumferential direction is performed with a key member.
