PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reuse of an ink cartridge in order to avoid misuse of ink unsuitable for a printer. SOLUTION: A memory 10 to store individually information on a plurality of ink cartridges 1 and ink 2 is provided in a printer 8. A control section 11 judges a working state of the ink 2 in the cartridges 1 in use according to the information on the respective cartridges 1 and the ink 2 stored in the memory 10.
