<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore holding information of a RAM as a main storage device without erroneously performing initialization or the like of a nonvolatile memory, to prevent losing of the information by easy memory control even when sudden power shutoff is generated, and to update the storage information of the nonvolatile memory. <P>SOLUTION: The RAM 4b is provided with areas of main and sub banks 7m, 7s of capacity of an EEPROM 5, a bank monitoring means recognizes a request of information storage of the EEPROM 5 on the basis of discordance detection of bit inversion states of the banks 7m, 7s by the bank monitoring means, the holding state of the regular bank 7m is written in the EEPROM 5, and the holding information of the banks 7m, 7s is rewritten into the latest storage information of the EEPROM 5 after the update. When the bank monitoring means detects discordance except the bit inversion state to recognize bank abnormality, a bank information correction means writes the storage information of the EEPROM 5 into the banks 7m, 7s. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
