PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of maintaining excellent communication quality in the case of receiving a video signal transmitted from a capsulate type endoscope. SOLUTION: The receiver is provided with: a plurality of antennas A1 to A8; a plurality of RF circuits RF1 to RF8 for converting a wireless signal received by each antenna into a baseband signal and outputting a reception electric field strength of each antenna; a plurality of BB processing circuits B1 to B8 for applying demodulation processing to each baseband signal outputted from each RF circuit and respectively outputting base band data; a selector 11 for selectively outputting three baseband data S2 received by three antennas with stronger reception electric field strength; and a majority decision circuit 12 for applying majority decision to the baseband data S2 selectively outputted from the selector 11 and outputting one baseband data S3.
