METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYESTER RESIN, POLYESTER RESIN AND BLOW MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester resin by which a container having excellent color tone can be produced with a small amount of produced cyclic trimers or acetaldehyde.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyester resin is characterized as follows. A dicarboxylic acid or its ester-forming derivative and a diol or its ester-forming derivative are subjected to liquid-phase polycondensation in the presence of an aluminum compound to produce the polyester resin. A phosphorus compound is then added and contained in the resultant polyester resin.
